As SACSA gathers in Greenville for The Bridge Forward: Reshaping, Reigniting, Reclaiming, we invite attendees to extend that spirit of connection beyond the conference and into the Greenville community through SACSA Serves.
This year, SACSA is partnering with two local organizations making a meaningful difference in the lives of children, adults, and families across the community.
✦
Two Ways to Give
Bring a little piece of your campus community to Greenville.
🧥
Sweatshirts for Operation Santa Claus
Mental Health America of Greenville County (MHAGC) works to support, strengthen, and save lives through services that positively impact mental health.
Through its annual Operation Santa Claus initiative, MHAGC provides more than 400 gift bags to adults living with chronic mental health conditions and housing insecurity.
What to Bring New, unworn sweatshirts in sizes M–3XL. Sizes L, XL, and 2XL are especially needed.
Make It Personal Consider bringing a sweatshirt representing your home institution as a way to share a piece of your campus community with someone in Greenville.
🧸
Stuffed Animals for Children's Hospital
Attendees can also support Prisma Health Children's Hospital by donating a new, unused stuffed animal for children receiving care.
Through Child Life Services, Prisma Health helps children and families navigate health care experiences by reducing stress and promoting healthy coping.
What to Bring New, unused stuffed animals. Institutional or campus-themed stuffed animals are especially encouraged!
Please Note Stuffed animals should not include religious themes, rubber or latex components, or be oversized.
Where to Bring Your Donations
Donations for both community partners will be collected throughout the conference by members of Furman University's Heller Service Corps.
Let's Make The Bridge Forward Matter
Together, we can make The Bridge Forward more than a conference theme, but an opportunity to connect, serve, and make a tangible difference in the Greenville community.
