Charlotte, also known as the “Queen City,” consistently ranks as one of the top-growing cities and is home to more than 10 Fortune 1000 companies, including household names such as Bank of America, Lowe's, and Duke Energy. The “Buzz City” and “The Queen City” are also home to the NFL's Carolina Panthers, the NBA's Charlotte Hornets, MLS' Charlotte FC, the NASCAR Hall of Fame, and the U.S. National Whitewater Center.
From brewery-heavy arts districts and historical neighborhoods to Olympic-level whitewater rafting and world-class dining, Charlotte, North Carolina, is consistently recognized as a top travel destination. The “Queen City” is beloved for its diverse population, growing neighborhoods, award-winning cuisine, prominent sports scene, and much more.
We will spend time together at the Le Meridien Charlotte in Uptown Charlotte. Conference attendees are welcomed to the “Crown Town,” which has vast offerings within walking distance from the conference hotel to sites such as the NASCAR Hall of Fame , Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts and Culture , Romare Bearden Park , Levine Center for the Arts , and Coco and the Director.
SACSA is committed to delivering an inclusive and accessible conference experience. Conference attendees requesting accommodations for SACSA's 2024 Annual Conference should indicate their request during the conference registration process or contact Conference Accessibility Chair Milan Novakovic at accessibility@sacsa.org as early as possible. SACSA and the Conference Leadership Team will make every effort to accommodate all requests received promptly; however, we cannot guarantee the availability of all accommodations.
The 2024 Conference Accessibility Guide is coming soon!
Our team is excited to cultivate your royal 2024 conference experience in the Queen City of Charlotte. Please contact us if we can assist in your conference experience or answer any of your questions. Please email conference@sacsa.org with any general inquiries.
